CLM Honored as 2018 Compass Award Recipient
The Center for Life Management (CLM) was among the 2018 Compass Award Recipients recognized by Community Crossroads at the 4th Biennial Partnership Celebration held recently at the Atkinson Country Club. The Compass Awards recognize individuals or entities that exemplify: “Guidance, Support and Advocacy”. Those selected have selflessly taken action toward helping our local communities be more informed, better places for all to enjoy, and welcoming for citizens of all abilities.
CLM was honored to be recognized as one of this year’s Compass Award recipients and to be presented with the Community Resource Award. In presenting the award, it was noted that CLM has worked collaboratively with Community Crossroads to support people with complicated dual-diagnosis needs. CLM is very involved and is skilled in providing services for people who are diagnosed with both developmental disabilities (DD) and mental health challenges. CLM truly understands how mental health issues impact people with DD and serves those whose needs are truly complex and don’t fit easily within any one system. This unique DD and mental health system partnership is a one-of-a-kind, best-practice model in NH.
Community Crossroads serves individuals with developmental disabilities or acquired brain disorders and their families. As a comprehensive human services agency, Community Crossroads coordinates a vast array of services to individuals in need of long-term supports throughout their lifespan. CLM is proud to be a collaborative partner in our shared mission to serve individuals with mental health needs live successfully with as much independence as possible within the communities we serve.
