Employee Assistance Program for Businesses
CLM’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is an employee benefit program designed to help businesses help their employees deal with personal issues that might adversely impact their job performance, health and overall well-being.
EAP provides businesses confidential assessment, referral and counseling services for their employees and eligible dependents at no cost to the employee. In addition, crisis mental health assistance/consultation is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through CLM’s emergency services.
EAP offers employees and their household members up to 3 program-paid EAP sessions to help manage issues in their personal lives. Issues for which the EAP provides support include:
- Occupational Stress
- Emotional distress
- Substance use
- Health concerns
- Major life events
- Relationship issues
Companies that invest in an EAP will likely observe a positive impact upon absenteeism and an improvement in workplace morale. Addressing issues through utilization of an EAP can provide an immediate response to an employee’s personal situation and long-term well-being for an organization and all if its employees. Investing in EAP will result in fewer disability and workers’ compensation claims, mitigate employer risk and improve job performance and customer service.
Benefits of an EAP:
- Increase productivity
- Reduce absenteeism
- Boost morale
- Prevent disability claims
- Decrease medical costs
- Balance work and personal life
